Description:

The New Hampshire Migrant Education Program (NH MEP) through the Department of Education aims to ensure that migrant students have equal opportunity to reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma or equivalent. The member, placed through the Granite State Education Corps, will mentor youth, prioritize youth voice, encourage problem-solving and listening skills, and help youth explore new things and opportunities to make decisions about what they want to do and how. The end goal is to increase resiliency, develop human capital, and ultimately increase self-sufficiency of the youth.
